General Description

2003 OSPREY Pilot House, This 2003 30' Osprey Pilothouse was built for the harsh conditions of the Pacific Northwest. A perfect dive boat for the unpredictable weather of the Northeast Atlantic as well. She is equipped with twin Volvo diesel engines with counter-rotating SS props, two 113 gallon diesel fuel tanks, full range of electronics, full stand-up electronic head with sink and shower, full galley, 2 helms, and heated pilothouse. She has a large deck for gear donning and doffing, full swim platform and custom stainless steel dive ladder. Her full range of electronics includes JRC GPS/depth-sounder plot500, JRC radar/GPS-plotter 1800, standard horizon VHF radio, backup hand-held VHF radio, remote controlled spotlight, deck lights, EPIRB, and FM radio/CD stereo receiver with 2 speakers in the cabin and 2 on deck. She is very fuel efficient, burning between 10 and 14 gallons per hour at cruising speed depending upon conditions and the amount of gear and passengers aboard. Twin diesels with 243 hp each gives her cruising speeds of 18-22 knots depending upon load with a top end of 30+ knots. The engines and outdrives are well maintained with plenty of space to work in the engine compartment below deck. She has a full complement of stainless steel grab handles, bow rails, roof rails, stern rail, and a grab rail inside the cabin for the length of the cabin for safe movement about the boat in any conditions. She holds 40 gallons of fresh water, and has a shower on deck as well as in the head. A salt water wash down is also available on deck. All sea cocks are high quality brass. She is stocked with spare parts, spare anchor, rescue throw bag, offshore life preservers, tools, oil, full first aid kit and oxygen kit needed to fix any problem or handle any emergency.
