General Description

The Lagoon 44 Power Catamaran is an efficient stable cruiser that has the best of all worlds in a luxury cruising vessel.
Heres why - Stability with the twin hull configuration, less drag and more efficient. At 10 kts the possibility to achieve 650NM + which is amazing and a 22 kt top end speed. Luxurious space that is equivalent to a small apartment. Its no wonder this design was an absolute success with many imitators. After the success of the Lagoon Power 43, launched in 2000, Lagoon delivered the Lagoon Power 44, a new model for the 2005-2006 season and this model is new in 2007 with Thai VAT paid and ready to undertake commercial ventures in Thailand.

This well-equipped and luxurious motorized catamaran provides maximum comfort for the owner in the large aft cabin and the guests in 2 forward double cabins all with flat screen entertainment systems ,air conditioning and private ensuits. The aft owners cabin has twin ensuits ,flat screen entertainment system and 180 degree panoramic views with the beam to beam cabin.

The saloon also boasts panoramic views which Lagoon is famous for providing. The saloon table can either be a coffee table or a dining table or it can be moved to the cockpit area for natural outside dining or inside for air conditioned comfort .

A particularly convivial new Fly bridge. Three people can sit at the steering station in individual chairs and up to six people can sit comfortably around the table. You can relax on 2 sundecks, one of them in the shape of a lounge chair to the left of the helm station and the other to the rear of the table seating area;. For safety at sea, the fly bridge access can be closed.

The helm stations both upper and internal air conditioned lower includes an instrument console displaying Raymarine C80 screens, an autopilot remote, a compass, a VHF radio, two engine panels (tachometer, fuel gauge, alarms), electronic engine throttle controls, horn button, windlass remote control, a plexiglass covered recess for charts, cup holders, glove box. The comfortable seating includes numerous storage compartments. Next to the flying bridge table, a bar cabinet can house an (optional) fridge or storage.

The galley is two steps down from the salon on the starboard side. Propane 4-burner stove with oven, double sink, refrigerator / freezer and hidden microwave. A number of cabinets and a separate, very large pantry permits storage of supplies and appliances with additional electric outlets. There is standing headroom of 7ft 2 in the galley.

The full width transom connects the two stern sections and provides room for storage lockers, a swim ladder, and a deck shower as well as easy access to the boat from dock or from water without traipsing across the cockpit.
