General Description

No matter what your destination, “GITANA", our Oceanis 400 Center Cockpit Sloop will take you there in safety, comfort and luxury, and she'll do it with a minimal effort on your part, thanks to a modern and efficient deck layout and quality hardware. Jean Marie Finot designed this second generation Oceanis to provide her owners with plenty of cruising comfort, blended with safety and true ease of handling. Her fin keel with bulb has a low center of gravity, which allows her to sail efficiently on all points of sail while providing excellent stability. Time and weather passes: A Beneteau is built to endure. This is the way cruising should be done; with a confidence and a peace of mind that allows you to relax and enjoy. The salon is accessed down several steps from forward in the cockpit. One is immediately struck by the “designer feel" with rich teak joiner work, teak & holly sole and molded fiberglass headliner throughout. The fully equipped galley is immediately to port and runs in the companionway from the salon aft to the master cabin. The galley features a gimbaled 3-burner stove w/oven, top loading fridge/freezer, double SS sinks and plenty of counter, drawer and cabinet space for storing food and dishes. Adjacent to starboard is a convertible U-shaped settee with a drop-leaf teak table. The forward facing navigational station/chart table is to port and has a St 600 Autohelm, Garmin 152 GPS, weather fax, SSB and an EPIRB GPS interface. The guest cabin is forward with a double berth to starboard, settee and hanging locker to port and a private head compartment forward. The large master cabin is aft and features a centerline queen, hanging lockers port and starboard and a private head compartment. She's powered by a Yanmar 50-hp diesel engine. This beautiful boat is loaded with options and upgrades including solid dodger, solar panel & wind generator, in-mast roller furling, Profurl furling genoa & staysail, 3.5 Kw generator, 2500 watt inverter, water maker, twin lectrasan systems, full bimini and much, much more. Just put your food and clothes on board and she is ready for a circumnavigation. This is a serious blue water cruiser and a “must see" for all upscale cruiser buyers. Owner has another boat on order and says “bring all offers".
