Interior

The warm light maple interior and the teak & holly floor invite you into this well-designed cabin for a 28 footer. Cruiseair Marine AC with SMX control panel keeps the climate just right. The enclosed head compartment is to starboard and features a fresh water VacuFlush toilet, holding tank w/ macerator discharge, stand-up shower, mirrored vanity, below counter storage, and sink. To port is the compact galley with Microwave, sink, electric stove, and Corian-like counter tops. Aft of the galley is your control panel, and aft of that is the mid-cabin berth which is roomy and sleeps two comfortably. Forward is the settee/convertible sleeper with fill-in cushion to enlarge the sleeping area. Here two more can sleep for a total of 4. You have access to the fore deck via a hatch, and the included EPIRB is located at the companionway door for quick accessability in an emergency. Whether plugged in at the dock or while running and powered by the 5KW generator, you can keep the cabin air conditioned for those hot summer days, a big plus as anyone who knows what it's like to be in a cabin mid day without it can surely attest!

Exterior

A beamy boat with a solidly built, full flotation hull, this boat comes with agressive non-skid surfaces for sure footing even when wet. The cockpit features twin 45 gallon in-deck fishboxes with macerator discharges, and a 30-gallon in-transom flow-through livewell. The transom door opens to a molded-in ‘swim platform' that is wide and secure to walk if accessing engines or reeling in a catch. The swim ladder folds away neatly under a non-skid lined hatch. The stern seat folds away for added fishing deck space. The under-gunnel rod racks hold 6 rods and reels and the flush-mounted chrome-plated rod holders keep another 7 rods ready, not to mention the hardtop has 4 rocket launchers to bring the total number of rod carrying capacity to 17. The factory hardtop with molded in electronics box is heavy-duty with large diameter pipes and twin spreader lights facing aft. Port of the helm is the lounger settee which is very comfortable for seating or laying back to enjoy the ride. One thing you notice about Boston Whalers is their attention to the safety of your family and friends while aboard your boat. At the helm you sit high giving you excellent visibility in all directions. You have many grab rails and hand rails to hold onto when moving around the boat. The bowrail is high and leads to the foredeck which features plenty of non-skid to keep you sure footed. There's a Simpson Lawrence anchor windlass in a hide-away locker at the integrated bow pulpit, another safety feature assuring your bow pulpit is as sturdy as the rest of the boat. Chrome-plated tie down cleats at the stern are through hawse pipes to avoid snagging fishing lines. Her clean and uncluttered deckspaces and user friendly design makes fishing on a Whaler a true joy. Other features include: trwnsom shower, transon door, swim platform with ladder, SS cockpit toe rails, cockpit bolster padding, opening windshield 'butterfly' vents, tilt hydraulic helm,

Electronics

An electric anchor windlass is operable from the helm as well as additional on-deck buttons. EPIRB included in sale.

Mechanical

Twin Mercury 225HP EFI outboards with stainless steel props, electric/hydraulic trim tabs with indicators keep her on even keel in all conditions, a Kohler 5KW generator (w/ halon fire suppression system in the gen compartment for added safety), and a 12,000 BTU Air conditioning system give her all the comfort of a bigger boat without breaking the bank.
