The Formula 34 PC was a very good-selling
model for Thunderbird during her decade-long
production
run. Like all of Formula's PC (Performance
Cruiser) designs, she's built on a constant
deadrise deep-V hull with moderate beam and
solid fiberglass construction. The mid-cabin
interior will sleep six and comes with an island
berth in the forward stateroom and convertible
facing settees in the aft cabin. Both staterooms
have privacy curtains, and a bi-fold door in the
head isolates the shower from the vanity. On
deck, a triple-wide companion seat is opposite
the helm and the entire aft section of the cockpit
can be turned into a giant sunken sunpad.
Additional features include well-secured side
blocks, a molded bow pulpit, transom shower,
foredeck sun pad, and a cockpit wet bar. A good
performer, twin Mercruiser 8.1-litre HO stern-
drives will cruise the 34 PC at 28 knots and top
out at around 40 knots.
