General Description

There always seems to be a market for the Hatteras 45 Convertible. Her profile is that of a classic, with a high foredeck and sweeping sheer line ending with a low freeboard cockpit. Solid hull construction and good sea-keeping qualities have made the 45 Convertible a tried and true favorite among tournament-minded anglers. This beautiful Convertible is new to our company and is ready to go. The current owner has owned the boat for many years, and has recently done some much needed upgrading throughout this vessel. He is not a fisherman, simply a lover of the Hatteras style and quality. She has a half-tower over the flybridge with an electronics box but is not rigged for fishing. The interior has been upgraded and looks and feels more like a luxury motor yacht than a tournament level fishing boat. Entering the salon from the cockpit there is a leather sleeper sofa with a matching leather chair and a lower helm station. The entertainment center is on the forward bulkhead in the salon and has a new Toshiba television with a DVD, a new Kenwood stereo system, new speakers and tinted salon windows. The galley is down three-steps on the port side. It has a new, full size refrigerator/freezer, 3-burner stove, stainless steel sink, new Corian countertops, and lots of storage areas. The master cabin is amidship with fore and aft berths (6' 5" long with new mattresses), hanging lockers, overhead lighting and an ensuite head that contains a large, separate stall shower, and new Corian countertops. The guest cabin is forward and has V-berths (6'5") with new mattresses, port lights, drawers, storage lockers and a hanging locker with 50-cubic feet of storage area. Power is provided by twin, 150-HP Detroit diesel engines with only 1000-hours, that will cruise this vessel at 10-knots and only burn 4-gallons of fuel per hour. The â��Mary L" has two new CruiseAir reverse cycle heat and air conditioning systems (16,000-BTU's each), new canvas, a fresh Awlgrip paint job (Cloud White) and many, many extras; her seller is serious as he owns too many boats.
