General Description

The Pouvreau design is typically French and is equipped to sail the world with performance , strength and comfort.
This vessel has clearly benefited from a major refit in Phuket, Thailand with receipts in the vicinity of 50,000.USD . As such the systems are in excellent order and her appearance is wonderful.

Down below the teak timber work is bright and fresh with clean white head linings. The 2 cabin layout gives an abundance of living space. The main cabin is aft and separate from the main saloon and galley. The galley runs longitudinally and has ample bench space and refrigeration. The galley saloon and navigation area is an integrated space that provides a good social environment. Forward of the saloon is the V berth. There is a single head and shower that is one large well ventilated area. The second head and shower is non existent and gives the vessel more saloon space, hanging area enables one usable bathroom rather than 2 small cramped areas. Water tankage is 850 liters.

On deck from aft is the scooped transom with a stainless steel arch that houses the solar panels and wind generator. Davits with a new dingy and out board are also part of this arch. The aft cockpit is deep with teak seating and a beautifully varnished storable table . The companionway is separate from the cock pit and is covered by a foldable spray dodger. This dodger also protects the sailing instrumentation. A ketch rigged cutter provides good manageable sail area with an additional asymmetric spinnaker to add to the sail inventory. The genoa and cutter are furling and the in boom profurl system gives a shapely fully battened main when hoisted .

This French built aluminum vessel has many new systems that will be very attractive to any sailor with a long voyage in mind.
