General Description

People buy trawlers for room and livability. The Nova 44 Sundeck has that and more. She comes with two "master" staterooms, either one will qualify. In between the staterooms is a large salon with a really full sized galley and lots of teak paneling, trim and furniture. On deck the enclosed bridge is spacious with accommodations for a family, a really big family with overflow available on a covered aft deck.

The enclosed bridge has a centerline helm with captain's chair. The upper and lower helms feature GPS/Chartplotter, Radar, Depthfinder, VHF Radio, and SSB Radio. Bench seating fills both sides of the bridge with the addition of a wet bar on the starboard side. Even with all the seating there is room to mingle. If it gets too crowded for you there's additional room on the aft deck just a few steps down. Just off the aft deck is an extremely generous swim-dive platform with railing and ladder. Behind the bridge, on the aft deck hardtop is the tender.

Below two large staterooms bookend the spacious salon that features a seating area, settee/dinette, lower helm, and a full sized galley. The galley has a full size refrigerator-freezer, stovetop, convection-microwave oven, dishwasher, and loads of cabinet and drawer space. The two large staterooms are distinguished by whether you prefer shower or tub. Each has a double berth with lots of storage and ensuite head. You can't go wrong with either one. Two marine air conditioning units cool the salon and staterooms. A Westerbeke 8kW genset provides the on the water electricity adding convenience to comfort.
